Jennifer Aniston would be one cool blind date, and her Hollywood friends are apparently working overtime to make sure that Jen has a love connection in 2008. The "date" happened south of the border with a star of the HBO series Entourage and don't worry it wasn't Adrian Grenier. In Touch Weekly has the details of the set up in this week's magazine.

"On a private beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Jennifer Aniston looked like the picture of contentment. Sun-kissed and toned in a skimpy thong bikini, she lounged in the sun while a younger man – Entourage star Kevin Connolly, the ex-boyfriend of Nicky Hilton – rubbed sunscreen lotion on her back." According to the magazine, it wasn’t an accidental meeting. An insider reveals that Jen, 38, and Kevin, 33, were set up by mutual friends Tobey Maguire and his wife, Jennifer Meyer, while on their New Year’s vacation. However, although Jen seemed to enjoy Kevin’s company, things never went beyond a little flirting. “Tobey and his wife knew it was a long shot,” says the insider, “but think they could have made a love connection.”

“Physically, Kevin is not Jen’s type,” says a pal of the actress. “She usually goes for taller guys. But Jen like guys who can make her laugh, and Kevin kept her in stitches during the trip.” The pair were part of a group that included Courteney Cox and David Arquette and their daughter, Coco, 3. “Courteney and David know and love Kevin,” says Jen’s pal. “They think he could be perfect for Jen.”

Hey, weren't they just filming "He's Just not that Into You" at the same time? I guess they are into each other, huh?
